My name is Asher. I use one of two last names typically. One I was born into and one I took with me when I left. But the name I hope to end up with is neither of those. Asher Joy. My chosen name and the embodiment of who I am. My joy is in everything I do and touch. In my field, my joy turns to passion for the healing I assist in. 

Massage has always been an interest for me. I remember being 9 and going around the campfire at a family reunion camping trip and asking family members if they would like a back massage. However I allowed fear of the unknown to keep me from my dream until I chose to reimagine my life in 2019 when I started massage school.

When I entered this this field, I was additionally drawn to energy work. It made so much sense to me to work with the client’s energetic body while assisting healing in the physical body.  

Moving to the Kansas City area has been a dream of mine for years and August of 2022 I made that dream a reality. Bringing with me my 3 children we have begun to set down roots and grow a community. 

When I felt called to begin my own business I was in the trenches of a job at a corporate massage business. It was a place that has the focus on the money and not the clients, it was draining my spirit.  

Healing is the entire focus of my business. The feedback from my clients about my services easing pain and increasing mobility brings me so much joy. I want everyone to be free from pain to enjoy the life they are meant to live.
